The Application of Phosphors for Fluorescent HPMV Lamps

Phosphors for Fluorescent HPMV Lamps can be used in HPMV lamps and can change emmission color and improve color-rendering properties. The most common uses of phosphors are in CRT displays and fluorescent lights. CRT phosphors were standardized beginning around World War II and designated by the letter "P" followed by a number.
A phosphor, most commonly, are a content that displays the phenomenon of luminescence. Somewhat confusingly, this lets in both phosphorescent materials, which demonstrate a slow decay in brightness (>1ms), and fluorescent materials, where the emission decay takes place over tens of nanoseconds.
The basic formula of rare earth aluminate long persistence phosphor is SrAlO4: Eu, Dy. By modifying its composition with different additives, the phosphor can emit a color of green, yellow, blue, white or other colors. After activating by either visible light or ultraviolet, its emitting duration can reach up to 12 hours and its loudness constitutes much more eminent than zinc sulphide (ZnS). These features make the rare earth long persistence phosphor a very much better candidate super- another phosphors such as ZnS in many applications.
Phosphorescent materials are known for their employment incoming radar screens and glow-in-the-dark toys, whereas fluorescent materials are green fashionable cathode-ray tube and plasma telecasting presentation covers, sensors, and white LEDs.
